Polar Winter at Pathfinder Farm

Ice HangingWe have so many layers of snow and ice along with freezing temperatures that we have given up shoveling. Our furnace froze last week for the first time ever. A friend’s skid loader stopped and shut itself off in the middle of mucking one of her horse shelters. I guess even the machines have had it with our polar winter…

This is a view toward the West.  The ice is taking strange forms.

The late afternoon scene is a cold but colorful sunset. We will truly appreciate Spring this year!
